No chimney in the room where you would like a stove? Or perhaps your house doesn't have a chimney at all!
It used to be the case that your only option would be to have a masonry chimney and fireplace built into or on the side of your property, an expensive and time consuming task.
With modern twin wall chimney systems this is no longer the case. Twin wall chimney systems are built from different components which cannot be cut, so careful planning is required for each property to ensure the right components are fitted to suit the installation.
Twin wall chimney systems are constructed of two layers of stainless steel with high temperature insulation between the two.
Good insulation of the flue is highly important, the combustion gases must be kept hot until they reach the top outlet. This ensures the flue is kept clear of soot and the stove itself recieves the correct draft (suction) from the chimney in order for it operate at the highest efficiency.
Twin wall flue is generally available in silver (reflective chrome-like) and black (satin/matt finish). Other colours are available by special order at an extra cost.
